This year’s Terrace Reads will be located on Field 1, between Temple Terrace Recreation Center and Lewis Elementary School on Whiteway.

Wreath Making Project
Everyone should bring their glue guns, wax, and wire cutters if possible . Completed Christmas wreaths are donated to Melech Hospice House, Temple Terrace. Call Rosemary with any questions.

Field Trip to Vista Garden
Come join us for our October field trip to Vista Garden. Vista stands for “Village Institute for Sustainable Technologies & Agriculture.” This is a 3.31 acre park run by volunteers with raised plots and composting. A solar system operates the water system for the garden.
Lunch will be at Winner’s, 5229 Ehrlich Road
NOTE: We will carpool from Woodmont, leaving at 9:15 am.

Artists in the Gardens
Gwen is hosting another “Artists in the Gardens” painting session with a fall theme. She will supply the canvases, paint, brushes, and instruction. There is small charge; contact Gwen with any questions or to register, depending on availability.

August General Meeting
Our first General Membership meeting will be the second Wednesday in August. At 9 am, the hospitality team will provide a small continental breakfast. At this meeting, we will have the opportunity to sign up for committees. The sign up sheets will be available before the meeting and after the business meeting. You should bring your favorite dish or dessert for the potluck luncheon after the meeting.
