We invite you to become a member
of the Garden Club!
Members come from diverse backgrounds…it is the love of nature and garden related activities that brings us together! The club meetings are open to anyone (regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religious affiliation) interested in learning and participating in the many garden related activities of TTGC.
The general club meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month August through May. Meetings are usually held at the Woodmont Clubhouse (exceptions are December and May) and if interested in membership, it is encouraged that one visits before joining. The business meeting starts at 10am, but refreshment and socializing begins at 9:00 am. The monthly program usually begins at 11am and lasts about one hour. Program topics are intended to further educate members regarding gardening, plants, flower arranging, environmental conservation and so much more.
We also have some very interesting field trips each year. Places we have visited include University of Florida/IFAS research centers, behind the scenes tours at Busch Gardens and Epcot, and local nurseries.
TTGC has several types of membership:
Active members are expected to attend monthly meetings, serve on hospitality once/year, join at least one committee, and participate in club fund raisers by selling poinsettias in the fall and donating plants to Spring Market in March.
Couples membership is open to persons living in the same household.
Annual Membership Dues (including membership in the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs (FFGC)):
Active Membership $30
Couples Membership $45
The club year runs from June 1st to May 31st. New members are accepted year round. Annual dues are paid in April and are delinquent May 1st.
TTCG looks forward to meeting you…please, be our guest!
