Tree Planting in Celebration of FFGC’s 100th Anniversary

Celebrating the 100-year anniversary
of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs (FFGC)

For our celebration of FFGC’s 100th anniversary, the Temple Terrace City Council made the proclamation of Friday, January 19th to be Arbor Day here in the city. As part of our festivities, we invited one of our City Council members, James Chambers, to speak about how Temple Terrace became a Tree City USA. The tree, a Southern Magnolia, was planted across the street from Woodmont Club House, alongside the 1st tee of the Temple Terrace Golf Course.
